UNION OF ASSOCIATION OF CROATIAN DEFENDERS TREATED FROM PTSD REPUBLIC CROATIA
This year, the Union of Associations of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD RH, for its members from all over Croatia, organized a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. The pilgrimage was organized by 26.-28. November 2018. as part of the "psychological and spiritual empowerment of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD and their families", funded by the Ministry of Croatian defenders and on it this year participated 57 pilgrims.
15. sports competition of the Association of Croatian war veterans treated for PTSD Croatia held 28. – 30. September in Porec. At this year's meeting was attended by eleven county associations with a total of about 160 Competitors. His teams at this year's meeting have reported associations members of Bjelovar-Bilogora, Karlovac, Krapina-Zagorje, Koprivnica-Krizevci, Sisak-, Split-Dalmatia, Varazdin, Virovitica-Podravina, Vukovar-, Zagreb County and the City of Zagreb. Dana 17. September 2018. Community representatives paid tribute to the murdered Croats in France during the revolt against the Nazis 1943. The. As members of the Croatian delegation lit candles and laid wreaths at the monument erected in honor of murdered Croats in Villefranche de Rouergue.
Dana 24. April 2018. in Kricevci held XIV. Fišijada where traditionally participate veterans treated for PTSD in the area of the Croatian. Before the contest leadership of the Society and the Association of State laid a wreath and pray for all those killed and missing war veterans and members of their families and in the premises of local associations held a meeting of the Presidency. The competition in cooking "fish stew" was held and organized ZUHBL PTSD RH and UHBL PTSD Koprivnica County "Sveti Marko Križevčanin" and are in competition participated teams representing the member associations of the Community from all over Croatian. The official opening of the competition and the division won awards attended the Mayor of Krizevci g. Mario others. Dana 26.02.2018. in the premises of the Association of Croatian veterans treated for PTSD Croatia in Dubrovnik Avenue 10 in Zagreb was held Regular Electoral Assembly of the association on which the Assembly of the Union for another term unanimously elected former president of the association Mr.. Tihomir Treščec, and the Secretary-General, also unanimously, g is selected. Ivica Turić. The Assembly adopted a work plan for the association 2018. year, which is defined that the organizations continue to carry out previous activities involving its members and public activities continue to defend and represent the interests of its members and the entire veteran population.
As part of the "spiritual and psychological empowerment of Croatian war veterans treated for PTSD," financed by the Ministry of Croatian defenders in four cities (Virovitica, upper Bazje, Grubišno Polje and Daruvar) held discussions and workshops on PTSD- and in cooperation with the Croatian Association for Suicide Prevention. Workshops and discussions were held for veterans suffering from PTSD as well as women, veterans and their families. Given the large turnout at forums and workshops turned out that there is still a need for organizing such events.
14. Sports competition of Croatian veterans treated for PTSD at the national level this year was held 29. September - 1. November 2017. year in the Bay Scott. At this year's gathering was attended by nine county association of PTSD , where gathered around 150 Croatian veterans treated for PTSD. His teams at this year's meetings of the association are delegated from the Zagreb County, new Zagreb, Varazdin County, Koprivnica County, Vukovar-Sirmium County, Bjelovar-Bilogora, Krapina-Zagorje County, Sisak County and Karlovac. The competition began with the grand opening in the Hotel Uvala Scott in Kraljevica which was attended by the mayor of Kraljevica Dalibor Čandrlić, Representative Kvarner County, representatives of veterans associations, Duro Glogoški, Mary Smith, Clear South and The thesis, and the game is opened Assistant Minister Croatian defenders Nenad Križić. Organized by the Association of Croatian defenders treated from PTSD Split-Dalmatia County organized an eco action to clean the river Cetina. The action was attended by several associations from the Split-Dalmatia County with about forty participants who have helped children from PK 'Vinkovci'. Cleaning action was organized on the eve of 8. memorial regatta in honor of fallen soldiers. More about the campaign -here-
